How's Life?

Saw spray painted phrases under a bridge near my house the other day. Stopped on my way home from the gstore, grabbed my camera, walked around, and took it in. A couple days later it was painted over. Got the impression I should pass it on.Life: How much do I take that for granted?
Family, a husband, a little boy I yearned for, health, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, etc...

All that, but what what about the bigger gift I've received?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Life of the everlasting variety. The old school John 3:16 kind.
If only I could keep that eternal perspective through every day crap.
Man, I'd be so much more useful, so much happier, so much clearer-minded, so much more at peace, so much more loving.Nobody loves us like God does.
And nobody sees us like God does...

But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
