Keeping up with the James'
Saturday and Sunday were with the James'. Everyone was in town for Foster's birthday and baptism, and Saturday was a great opportunity for a family picture. One of the funnier things from Saturday, you can't see from my lens. Kirsten's mom made all kinds of crazy noises and sounds trying to keep the kids looking my direction. She was great, and great fun. Evidently there are some pictures of our attempts, and I'll link to them once they are posted. Should be pretty funny stuff.
Keith and I are alike in a lot of ways, and I have always felt comfortable being around him and joking/jabbing back and forth with him. Kir and my D are similar too, in ways that have made me appreciate them both even more. I know why we're such close friends, and why as couples we complement each other so well. <3
One trait we share is that Keith and I both tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. But you know, it means so much more to have gotten the big thumbs up on this photo from my favorite Video Editor.
I can't say enough about how much this family has come to mean to me and mine. They are always welcoming, warm, and a pretty fun time - a special bunch indeed. <3
I absolutely adore this picture. I wonder if it would be weird to hang it in my own home? ; )

Love the photo...got here from K's blog. We were at Marie-Gabrielle for a wedding last night and we talked about you...think that it would be great to hire you for a family photo sometime. Not now because Sheridan wouldn't smile at all...but would love to when she's more engaged. Will keep you posted
