Desperate for changing

At dinner last night, I heard a song on the radio that first inspired me a few years ago.~~~
I was jogging at the lake, enjoying the beauty and nature God created.
I had been struggling to trust God more, particularly with my yearning, nearly desperate desire to extend our family with a child. It didn't come easy for us, and was easy to get sucked into the medical/clinical side of things...what the doctor said, what options to try, possible answers and possible solutions.I just remember that time in my life well, as it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions month, after month, after month. This song came on the radio as I jogged, and it hit me immediately as to who they were singing about.
The words pierced my heart and tears streamed down my face...not sadness, just truth...a connection between those words, God, and my life. A similar reaction occurs every time I hear it.

It is still hard to think about a closeness with God as 'being in love'. But...I hope I come to understand that more and more as I spend time in His Word and in the quiet of His magnificent work.

and starving for Your truth.
